It is standard and so understandable that people are facing fear in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. Added to the fear of getting the infection in a pandemic. People agonizing with pre-existing neurological, mental or substance use disorders they are more vulnerable to SARS-CoV-2 infection ̶ they can have a greater risk of severe outcomes, even death.
